The Dream

I had a recurring dream the other day,
A dream that will not just go away,
I was reclining in a dentists chair,
But I had no fears, I had no cares.

Before me was a wondrous sight,
A lady with a smile so bright.
Kind and gentle with a soothing voice,
So carefully explaining treatments and choice.

It must be a dream, life is not really like this
If dentists were so, oh how I would wish.
In my youth, many long years gone by,
To avoid the dentist, oh how I did try.

But now there's no worry, no cause to fret,
But I was at the dentist, I'm sure I was, yet.
It was also so gentle, so peaceful, so calm.
I knew that in their hands there could be no harm.

Its no dream, I'm remembering, I now see it clear,
It's the dentists, Smiles Better, and yes I am here.
So stressless, so calm and before I put down my quill,
Come back to see you again, yes of course I will
